- In March 2011, the most powerful earthquake in Japan´s history strikes off its northeast coast, launching a disaster of devastating proportions. The ensuing tsunami pummels the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant and decimates its electrical systems. With backup generators underwater, the nuclear reactors´ temperatures rise to catastrophic levels. Tokyo and the world are at risk of nuclear fallout. Shocked, exhausted, and faced with certain danger, 50 brave workers stay behind amongst the rubble to protect their country and honor their duty.
